    Hi,

    After booting on Ubuntu image on SD Card, the RTC can't be accessed.

    rtc0 device is present:
    ls -al /dev/rtc*
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Jan 1 1970 /dev/rtc -> rtc0

    aml_rtc is registered:
    dmesg | grep -i rtc
    [ 4.885466@0] Meson KeyInput register RTC interrupt
    [ 5.817282@1] aml_rtc_init...
    [ 5.818250@1] aml_rtc rtc.0: rtc core: registered aml_rtc as rtc0
    [ 6.257743@1] aml_rtc rtc.0: setting system clock to 1970-01-01 00:00:11 UTC (11)

    But impossible to read or write date from/to RTC
    When i do hwclock --show:
    hwclock: select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out: Success

    and the sysetm receive
    [ 248.196458@0] === key 116 up ===
    [ 252.090441@0] === key 116 down ===

    (KEY_POWER button press and release)

    What can be done to enable RTC?

    Hello,
    1- How to install Linux on NAND/eMMC? I don't want android os.
    I have a Android Smart Setupbox with Amlogic S812 cpu and Mali 450 GPU. Does it work on my device too? (I repeat, I want to install linux on NAND/eMMC flash). But if I continue with your scenario (install on SDcard), does it support my device with these specification?

    Thanks.

    This build is meant for the WeTek.Play so try at your own risk, or contact your device vendor.

    Can someone post a tutorial on how to compile the latest kernel to use with Wetek Play?
