    putty_output.log

    putty_output_1.log

    putty_output_2.log

In case the developers will need more information or specific check supported by a .log just let me know

    ciao

    Hello @mauro

Unfortunately you logs didn't help us much.

I recommend double checking the SIM card, just to be sure!

If this does not work, don't close your box and try this last method of recovery: http://www.wetekforums.com/v/index.php?p=/discussion/20142/hard-recovery-for-wetek

    Best regards

    Ciao @Anima
apparently problem solved. I did play one more time with the simcard and all by magic is now fine.

At this point I hope it is not a false contact with the sim card holder because I've removed and inserted the sim again as first time but who knows...

By any means, I've appreciate your support!!!!!

    Thanks

    Hi
I was coming back to Wetek Android from CM11+1080p

I did not want to format data and clear cache and I end-up in a endless booting step
No way to access recovery or flash anything....except that a already loaded mSD with
    E2 was successfully loading.

I prep the sd and tried to stop the loader using Ctrl C but did not work.
Later I remembered some commands used in Nexus Player adb, I run reboot, reboot recovery while android was loading and voilà..back in business ( I mean recovery)
wiped data, and loaded again setup run backup and done.

One more thing not sure mentioned else, dual boot worked for me ONLY with
Wetek Android 1.7 image in nand

    Hi to everyone,
first post so first of all hi to everyone.
Just received an openelec box that seems to have been resold to me as the box didnt looked new and of course when I plug it in the screen remains No signal. Tried other HMDI plug and cable same result. Tried all the steps I could found to reflash the image but no luck. Serial cable was missing so was even more srewed but it finally got delivered this morning.
Hooked it up and started it . I would like to recover the box but I pressing CRTL C doesn t work. Tried several times but no luck. Looks like I am cursed with that box. Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thanks

    ERROR: can't get kernel image!
    wetek#

Have you tried to reinstall the system?

    download these files:
    https://mega.nz/#F!8ogVkSbR!ytnGLtmILb9-5J-Bq6GBhg

Extract it until you get 4 files listed like this (Do not need to be in the same order)

    .zip file
    aml_autoscript
    factory_update_param
    recovery

Copy them to a formmated (FAT32) SDcard

After you have copied the files to your SDcard, follow these steps:

Insert the SDcard with the files in your device.
    Power Off your device
    Disconnect your power supply.
Underneath your Device, you have an update button (Small Hole)
With the update nail provided in your package, press and hold that update button
While pressing, connect your power supply
Keep pressing the button for 10 more seconds.

After the 10 seconds the installation will start automatically.

You can follow this video to help you apply the steps i mentioned above,
    http://tutorials.wetek.com/tutorial/9

Nonetheless, have you tried this too? http://www.wetekforums.com/v/index.php?p=/discussion/20136/soft-recovery-for-wetek-play-openelec/p1

    @JosCa

It seems to be a problem with your U-boot.
Please try the soft-recovery method: http://www.wetekforums.com/v/index.php?p=/discussion/20136/soft-recovery-for-wetek-play-openelec
