envagyokenvagyok Posts: 226WeTek Community Member
I see Openpctv files in update.wetekos.com:8080 site.
Can someone tell some Infos?
I see 2 file type, one img and one tar.
It can install to nand or the sdcard?
Work both tuner?
It has tvheadend or vu+ or enigma tv server?
Can I download channellists, Censure etc?

Thanks for Infos.

Updated:

Re: Openpctv

Hello envagyok,

it looks like an image for the SD-CARD:
Assuming you are on a linux box, after extracting the bz2 image
$ sudo fdisk -l /tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img

Platte /tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img: 3670 MByte, 3670016000 Byte
255 Köpfe, 63 Sektoren/Spur, 446 Zylinder, zusammen 7168000 Sektoren
Einheiten = Sektoren von 1 × 512 = 512 Bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Festplattenidentifikation: 0x0006b8a9

Gerät boot. Anfang Ende Blöcke Id System
/tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img1   *        2048       67583       32768    b  W95 FAT32
/tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img2           67584     7167999     3550208   83  Linux

FAT32 is usally not used on raw NAND flashes :)

Re: Openpctv

Further investigations:
Get start,offset and image size information
$ sfdisk -d /tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img
# partition table of /tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img
unit: sectors

/tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img1 : start=     2048, size=    65536, Id= b, bootable
/tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img2 : start=    67584, size=  7100416, Id=83
/tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img3 : start=        0, size=        0, Id= 0
/tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img4 : start=        0, size=        0, Id= 0

Now calcuate options for mount
$ echo $((2048 * 512)) $((65536 * 512))
1048576 33554432

Mount vfat part of the image
$ sudo mount -o loop,offset=1048576,sizelimit=33554432 -tvfat /tmp/openpctv-devel-20150206-wetek.img  /mnt

Look into the image
$ tree /mnt/
/mnt/
??? boot.img

Over kodi/services not find.

You can press any key when booting
(You can see 'Press any key to enter setup,or 3 seconds later enter kodi' on the screen when booting)

It needn't enable vdr/tvheadend services over kodi, they has been in the system. after you selected the PVR backend you only need to enable VDR VNSI/VDR XVDR(for vdr pvr backend) or tvheadend pvr addons in kodi

unable to stat path might be related to the recordings path, try to set it to a path writable to the user running tvheadend daemon (or chmod 666 the recordings path)

Re: OpenPCTV for WeTek Play

How do we compile it?

git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/openpctv/code openpctv-code
cd openpctv-code
./scripts/loadcfg openpctv-wetek hangs after generating a few cfg files, what is needed?

Thx!

Re: OpenPCTV for WeTek Play

Fixed, Thank you!

1.Get sources:
git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/openpctv/code openpctv-code

2.Load the default config:
./scripts/loadcfg openpctv-wetek

3.Select the default packages or function(optional)
make xconfig or make menuconfig

4. Build
make

5. Complete compilation, the rootfs will be save to binaries/binaries.wetek/openpctv-*.wetek.tar.bz2, You can use the make make-sdcard to create SDcard('devel-20150222' may be different from yours):
./make-sdcard /dev/sdb openpctv-devel-20150222.wetek.tar.bz2 #If /dev/sdb is your SDcard device.
You can also use 'make-sdcard' script to create a rootfs image:
./make-sdcard openpctv-wetek.img openpctv-devel-20150222.wetek.tar.bz2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is the new rootfs image for WeTek Play(Just for testing):
I've just installed this, but where is enigma2? All I'm seeing is Kodi. If enigma2 is non-existant, then what is the point in this software when we have Openelec?
uclibc/ppl-1.0/src
I have same compilations error.how we fix it henryliu
Otherhand enigma2 doesn't work with arm based device. only works x86 openpctv . Maybe somebody port gstreamer enigma2 for amlogi
I think that error based gcc 4.9.1
• AdogaAdoga Posts: 40WeTek Community Member
has anybody got this working? if yes how is it compared to OpenElec. I saw a video, it looks lightning fast and with a simple ui. I'm very much intersted. Is it worth it?
